Travel Help for Large Group Trips

Are you organizing a SMART train trip for a large group? SMART has resources available to make planning simple.

View the schedule to begin planning your trip. The trip planning feature is a simple and convenient tool to help you coordinate your trip. Select your departure station and arrival station to see information on schedules and fares.

Fare Information

SMART uses a zone based system to calculate fares. The fare information page will help you determine how much your trip on the SMART train will cost. You will also find information on Clipper card and SMART's mobile e-ticket app, our two forms of payment.

Information on SMART's ten stations in Marin and Sonoma counties can be found here. Select a station to view the map and more information, including transit connections, bicycle amenities, and parking options.

Contact SMART’s outreach team before your trip
