River Shuttle

SMART Connect - Weekend Russian River Shuttle Service

On weekends during the summer, SMART passengers can ride to the Sonoma County Airport station in Santa Rosa and then catch the SMART Connect shuttle to Steelhead Beach Regional Park.

Travel to the Russian River
On Saturdays and Sundays, there is one (1) SMART Connect shuttle trip to Steelhead Beach in the morning, meeting arrival of the 10:47 a.m. northbound train. The shuttle will depart for Steelhead Beach at approximately 10:50 a.m.

Return Trip
On the return trip, passengers will ride the Regional Parks Shuttle from Steelhead or Sunset beaches to return to El Molino High School, where the SMART Connect shuttle will offer one pickup at 5:15 p.m. and transport riders to the train station to catch the 6:00  p.m. southbound SMART train.

Connect Shuttle Fare
The transfer from the train to the shuttle is free, however the SMART Connect shuttle trip requires advanced reservations by calling C3 Transportation at 1-800-727-0279 Ext. 5. Capacity is limited, so reservations at least 24 hours in advance are encouraged, but same-day reservations may be accommodated. The SMART Connect shuttle is free from SMART, and SMART fares are free for senior and youth riders.
