Convenient Transportation:
The SMART offers expanded train service during the Marin County Fair, July 3 through July 7, 2024. In collaboration with the County of Marin, SMART will run additional evening trains to facilitate fairgoers taking public transit to the event. The expanded train service will allow fairgoers to stay later and watch the fireworks show. Plus, youth and seniors ride free on SMART!

Additional train departures from the Marin Civic Center station:

9:19 p.m. southbound (this train does not serve Larskpur and departs the Marin Civic Center station prior to fireworks show)
9:55 p.m. southbound
10:05 p.m. northbound
10:35 p.m. northbound

Parking: Fairgoers are encouraged to leave the car at home and take transit to the fair. Free day-use parking is available at most SMART stations.

Marin Transit will offer free local transit rides county-wide on all fixed-route buses during the five days between July 3 - 7, 2024. The fairgrounds are accessible via Route 35 and Route 49, as well as via the SMART Civic Center station. Routes 35 and 49 will operate later to allow fairgoers to watch the fireworks.
